Since I moved from networking to Grid (almost 5 years), I got several support requests asking whether my contribution was available for newer versions of NS2 or not. From time to time, I got indirect information about persons that made the port and even extended it, but unfortunately I am not aware of any public release.

During this year, after one more request and a bite of spair time, I finally decided to perform such a task and I ported the code to NS2, version 2.29.3. In this occasion, I also decided to release it under GPL license and through the sourceforge portal, hoping that this will attract contributors. The name given to the sourceforge project is DiffServ4NS.

Over 70 downloads in around a month of presence!!!
