Resources available in Grid systems must be described in a precise and systematic manner if they are to be able to be discovered for subsequent management or use.
I have been contributing to this area since my early involvement in Grid Computing. Currently, the activity is being perfomed in two contexts: in the Open Grid Forum as co-chair of the GLUE WG and in the OMII-Europe project as a leader of the JRA2 Activity.
