Sergio Andreozzi

The Network Simulator (NS2) is a discrete event simulator targeted at networking research. During 2001, I used this tool to replicate experiments made in a real DiffServ-enabled IP network and validate the simulator capabilities. Along this work, since the native NS2 DiffServ capabilities were not satisfactory, I developed an improved DiffServ module improvements. I later contributed the results to the NS2 community. Since June 2006, the code base is also available via the sourceforge.net portal
